Artisan House, an interactive walk-through
Service

Interactive architecture

Walk through it before it is built.

The idea

Explore it first

A real-time, explorable model of a home, a building or a whole neighbourhood. Buyers and clients walk it freely on a screen: open the doors, switch the lights, change the finishes, step outside and down the street. It goes further than a virtual tour, and it can stand in for a show home before a single one is built.

Why it is different

Beyond tours and show homes

  1. 01

    Virtual tour

360° photos from fixed points. Only possible once the space exists, and you cannot change anything or walk where the camera did not stand.

  2. 02

    Show home

One unit, in one place, with one set of finishes. Costly to build, furnish and staff, and only seen by people who can visit.

  3. 03

    Interactive architecture

Walk anywhere, before anything is built. Change finishes, layouts and light, visit any lot, and share it online with every buyer.

Lighting

Light scenes at a switch

Set a whole room with one switch, or work each lamp on its own. The light and shadows update instantly.

Visibility

Furnished or empty

Hide the furniture to walk the bare rooms, then bring it back. Shadows and light adjust as you go.

Reflections

Ray-traced reflections

Mirrors, glass and polished surfaces reflect the room live as you move through it.

Try them yourself

Two ways to walk in

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with a DirectX 12 graphics card. Both are free downloads from Google Drive.

Where this is going

Entire neighbourhoods

The goal is entire neighbourhoods: streets, parks, amenities and every home model, in one world a buyer can explore from the front door to the end of the block.

How it works

Four steps

  1. 01

    Send what you have

Drawings, site plans, a Revit, Rhino, SketchUp or ArchiCAD model, finish schedules, reference photographs.

  2. 02

    We build the world

Homes, streets and landscape true to your plans, with the options and upgrades you sell built in.

  3. 03

    Walk it together

We review it live with you, changing finishes, layouts and light as you talk.

  4. 04

Put it in front of buyers

The interactive model for your sales centre and online, plus stills and films from the same scene.

Artisan House

Artisan House: changing it as you go

Doors, lights and cabinets that respond while you walk through.
Why it costs less

We built our own tools for the repetitive parts: doors, stairs, materials, lighting, cameras. The hours go into your project instead, which is what makes a full interactive model affordable, and a whole neighbourhood possible.
